Executive Director Renita Malone

Hi, I’m Renita—a Customer Success leader turned digital equity advocate with a passion for helping people unlock new opportunities through technology.

After nearly two decades in tech and SaaS, I saw firsthand how digital skills can transform careers. But it was my work as a Digital Navigator at Chicago State University that truly shifted my purpose. Supporting underserved communities with digital literacy and career readiness showed me just how many adults are being left behind in today’s digital world.

That experience inspired me to launch Second Wind Adult Learning Academy—a space where adults can build confidence, gain essential skills, and take meaningful steps toward employment and personal growth.

I believe it’s never too late to learn, grow, and start again.
